About this camp

SPARTS Summer Camp, led by certified Seattle Public Schools teachers, offers three unique weekly sessions for campers aged 5-11 (Grades K-6) at Adams Elementary. Each day seamlessly integrates sports, arts, and science activities, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience where no two days are the same. In sports, campers participate in screen-free gym games, team challenges, and minute-to-win-it competitions, with every Friday featuring a highly anticipated Water Day. Arts sessions encourage imagination through hands-on creative projects, mixed media exploration, and free creation, with grades 3-6 designing and taking home a tie-dye t-shirt. Science adventures are unique each week, involving hands-on projects that ignite curiosity through exploration, building, and engineering. Past science themes have included Animal Enrichment, Robot Building inspired by The Wild Robot, and Arcade Engineering, where campers turn cardboard and creativity into a full game room experience. The camp focuses on teamwork, problem-solving, and fostering a sense of community in a screen-free and inclusive environment.
