About this camp

Students at Club SciKidz Seattle North's AI Summer Camps for ages 11-13 and 13-15 engage in a hands-on, project-based program to learn the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Campers will gain practical coding skills and build their own AI models from scratch. The curriculum focuses on core AI concepts such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data Analysis & Visualization, and Face & Voice Recognition. Throughout the week, participants will apply their learning to develop a final independent research project on a topic of their choice, which they can showcase at an end-of-week presentation. The camp aims to transform students from technology users into creators and innovators, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

What a typical day looks like

A typical day includes general check-in, an all-camp science demonstration, multiple S.T.E.A.M rotations, snack and refresh breaks, lunch/recess, games, an outdoor component for team and skill building, and clean-up before camper pickup.
