The UW Elite University Prep & Residential Summer Camp - AI and Innovation offers high-achieving international high school students a three-week immersive experience on the University of Washington campus. The program combines intensive English language and cultural learning with an AI and Innovation curriculum led by experts from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Students will strengthen their English communication skills through interactive classes and real-world practice in Seattle. The AI and Innovation sessions introduce fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence, real-world applications, and the mindset needed to thrive in an AI-driven world. Participants will learn how organizations adopt AI, how innovation moves from ideas to impact, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for an AI-driven future. The camp also includes practical academic preparation, such as college admission essay workshops and Duolingo English Test (DET) preparation, alongside cultural excursions to Seattle's landmarks and technology hubs. By the end of the program, students will understand core AI concepts, apply a structured innovation process, recognize AI readiness, identify opportunities and challenges in responsible AI deployment, and gain insight into how innovation shapes industries and global economies.
