About this camp

The Little Robot Engineer camp offers a hands-on introduction to robotics and engineering for young minds. Campers will engage in building and programming various robots, including an Art Bot that draws and a LEGO® Bot. They will also learn basic coding using the screen-free KIBO Robot. The curriculum explores fundamental concepts of electricity, circuits, and power sources as children construct projects like a “Mars-like” RC Snap Rover capable of 23 experiments, an Artbot, and a Bristlebot. The camp emphasizes STEM discovery through creative play and teamwork, allowing children to take home the robots they build for continued learning and fun. Activities also include outdoor robot-themed games and team challenges to foster collaboration and problem-solving skills.

What a typical day looks like

A typical day includes general check-in, an all-camp science demonstration, multiple S.T.E.A.M rotations, snack and refresh breaks, an outdoor component for team and skill building, and concludes with clean-up and camper pickup.
