About this camp

Camp Invention offers an engaging, week-long STEM summer camp experience for children entering grades K-6. The program focuses on hands-on challenges that encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills. Campers collaborate on various activities, including exploring forensic science with robotic capybaras, experimenting with physics and entrepreneurship to design billboard boats, and embarking on a space adventure to build and launch DIY rockets to transform a planet. They also team up with the Innovation Force® to create wearable cryptography devices and learn about protecting intellectual property. The curriculum is designed to spark confidence, build persistence, and inspire children to become creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

A typical day at Camp Invention involves campers checking in at Base Camp for a warm-up activity with their age group and Leadership Interns. They then rotate through two creative challenges in the morning, followed by a lunch break and outdoor games (weather permitting). The afternoon includes two more exciting experiences before regrouping at Base Camp for a final problem-solving challenge and pickup. The program emphasizes active, hands-on learning and encourages children to continue inventing at home.
