This immersive week-long day camp introduces students aged 11-13 to the exciting fields of Artificial Intelligence and coding. Participants will engage in hands-on projects designed to demystify AI concepts and build foundational programming skills. Through interactive activities, campers will learn the basics of computational thinking, develop logical problem-solving abilities, and understand how algorithms work. The curriculum focuses on practical application, allowing students to create their own simple AI-powered programs, such as basic chatbots or image recognition tools, and understand how AI impacts the world around them. Students will gain proficiency in fundamental coding structures and learn to approach challenges with a programmer's mindset, fostering creativity and critical thinking. By the end of the session, campers will have a solid understanding of core coding principles and an appreciation for the potential of artificial intelligence, fostering a strong interest in future STEM pursuits and equipping them with valuable 21st-century skills in technology and innovation.
Students engage in AI and coding activities from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
